The American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry is hosting its 29th Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida, December 6-9, 2018.
Patrick J. Kennedy, lead sponsor of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, founder of The Kennedy Forum, former Rhode Island Congressman, and former member of the President's Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis will be honored with the AAAP Founder’s Award Friday, December 7 at 8 a.m. and will deliver a keynote address.
According to the AAAP, the Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium provides the latest scientific developments in Addiction Psychiatry for physicians and allied health professionals who treat patients with substance use disorders and mental health disorders.
